Our innovative Bachelor of Information Technology program gives students access to state-of-the-art software and equipment, preparing you for this fast pace career path.

The information technology (IT) profession requires university graduates who have the necessary education and skills to work in the fast-paced world of IT. 

Our IT programs are designed to provide you with an innovative and market-driven curriculum, so students will be prepared to lead and succeed in the 21st-century workplace. 

We put students one step ahead by combining the latest technology with the most current IT trends. Students will get hands-on experience through our extensive experiential learning opportunities, and career readiness initiatives.

In our Bachelor of Information Technology program, you may choose to major in one of the following functional areas:

  • Networking and Information Technology Security

Information Technology Pathways program

  • The Information Technology Pathways program provides you with the opportunity to apply your Ontario college diploma (or equivalent) or degree you have already earned toward a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) degree at Ontario Tech University.
