Through a comprehensive curriculum, delivered by an interdisciplinary faculty, you will be able to apply an integrated approach to interior design solutions for the built environment and its occupants.
This program will support you to meet demands of technological changes and currency with respect to sustainability, universal design, and health and safety.
Through project-based learning, the Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) will provide you with the professional training required for developing creative design solutions for interior spaces such as residential, corporate/commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, hospitality/entertainment, and exposition.
You will study the range of functional and aesthetic components that allow spaces in the built environment to be safely and comfortably inhabited, while considering ergonomics, illumination, acoustics, finishes, safety, and all aspects of space programming.
Designing and creating sustainable interiors, managing interior design projects, and working in a team of professionals that includes architects, engineers and contractors, all require the solid technical education that is provided to you through Conestoga's Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours).
There are two (2) paid co-op work term opportunities to complement your academic studies and provide valuable practical experiences. You will be fully prepared for the realities of new and emerging technologies and for great careers in interior design.

Our CIDA-accredited program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, advanced study, and application for membership in professional interior design organizations.
The Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) degree granted by Conestoga College meets the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (CIDQ Exam).
