Teaching and learning methods for each course are conducted through lectures, tutorials, lecture demonstration, skill lab practical, presentation, project, clinical teaching and clinical placement.
The program aims is to nurture virtuous and high-quality nursing practitioners in supporting the university’s vision to be a world choice university in line with the nation’s aspiration towards sustainable quality health care.
Bachelor of Nursing Science with Honors first offered in session October 2021/2022. The program has received Provisional Accreditation (PA) from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA/PA12393).

Universiti sultan zainal abidin (unisza) started as kolej ugama sultan zainal abidin (kusza). Kusza commenced operation on 1st january 1980 at batu burok before moving to hajah wook building in pulau kambing in 1981.
