Thus, B Pharm graduates can play vital roles like Industrial pharmacist (Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality Control and Quality Assurance), Hospital and Community Pharmacist (Dispensing of Medicines and Counseling of patients).
Sales and Distribution executive (Detailing to doctors and bulk distribution of medicines), Academic Pharmacist (training diploma in pharmacy students). With experience, an aspirant can move up the ladder to occupy senior positions in pharmaceutical companies getting hefty pay and perks.
R R College of Pharmacy recognizes and encourages research as a fundamental tool for faculties, research scholars and PG students. College is well-equipped with research facilities to meet research requirements of various departments.
The course of study for B.Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination / two year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B.
These regulations shall be called as “The Revised Regulations for the B. Pharm. Degree Program (CBCS)of the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi”. They shall come into effect from the Academic Year 2016-17.
