Panimalar College of Nursing is a Christian Minority Institution of Higher Education established and governed by the “Jaisakthi Educational Trust”, Chennai. Jaisakthi Educational Trust aims at imparting quality of engineering, medical, nursing and other health professions education for the aspiring youth.

The college is located at Varardharajapuram near Poonamallee, Chennai and is well connected by road covering Chennai, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur districts.The College is well-equipped with the state of the art infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms, and advanced laboratories and continually focuses on teaching, clinical practice, and research.

The objectives are providing excellent education to help and create exemplary  Nursing students, the Trust established the Panimalar College of Nursing in 2020. The College of Nursing is designed to meet the ever growing need for qualified Nurses in the country, where at present the number of trained nursing personnel is woefully inadequate. This college helps to meet the shortage of qualified nurses by offering B.Sc Nursing degree course.
