The bachelor of technology degree in cybersecurity is designed to provide in-depth study in several areas of the cybersecurity domain, such as computer networking, computer programming, information security, web development, database development, and digital and mobile forensics. The program offers the range and depth of course work to enable graduates to enter directly into the field of cybersecurity, or to pursue graduate study. 

Furthermore, this program has an applied learning component that gives students real-world experience, using forensic tools and applications.

What Will I Learn?

  • In an applied setting, students will learn essential elements of cybersecurity, including computer networking, digital forensics, web development, and ethical hacking. Program coursework begins from an information technology perspective, spanning central concepts including software, hardware, operating systems, and computer networks. Higher-level study will focus on cybersecurity directly, introducing elements of forensics, ethical methods in system testing, and psychological concepts in information security. The program expands upon the College’s mission to provide education in the ethical creation and use of technology in professional service, as well as for personal use.
