Bluerhythmix has been providing dance lessons in Highfields for over 15 years. Our dedicated and experienced dance teachers provide lessons to students aged 3 to adult in Jazz, Ballet and Tap, teaching to the Southern Federation of Dance syllabus.
Discover the beauty and technique of the art of ballet. Barre, centre work and routines are taught at each level. Pre-school to advance pointe levels are catered for.
Classical Ballet is highly focused on grace, skill and precision. It is the basic foundation of all theatrical dance styles and is absolutely necessary for the technical development of a dancer. All elements of barre work, body placement and arm movements are applied in each lesson.
Students taking Ballet class will learn exam work as part of every class however exams are non-compulsory. Students in our ballet classes will learn correct technique and terminology as well as develop agility, flexibility, coordination, grace and strength.
Our programs are strongly influenced by current pre-school education trends in teaching through play acknowledging that pre-school children are a highly imaginative age group with pretend play being an important aspect of child development.
Ballet is one of the world’s most beautiful and revered art forms. Adults and children alike will love building on a foundation of basic movements set to beautiful music as they grow their strength and abilities.
