Pre School Ballet is split into Ballet 1 – for 3-4 year old beginners & Ballet 2 – for 4-5 year old & Performance troupe members.
Hair must be in a neat bun. Scrunchies, headbands, hair combs and hair ties should be matching colours. No jewellery is permitted except for sleepers or studs.
Ballet pink ankle socks (available from the studio) may be worn 1st and 4th terms – Intermediate & Senior classes must wear these with Pink ballet tights to under the knee (convertible or capri tights)
Senior Ballet Students may wear all black leotard and ballet skirt of their own choice.
Proper ballet shoes must be worn - Jiffies are not acceptable as they have a plastic sole and are quite dangerous to dance in.
In the cooler weather students may wear a black x-over to class – these are available from Kmart, Best & Less, Big W etc.
No jiffy's are to be worn in these classes, as they are too dangerous, and our insurance does not cover the use of them.

The Prep Ballet class is a great step up from our Tiny Tot’s Ballet Programme, or if your child is new to dance and wants to learn all the wonderful beginnings of Ballet.
DanceWorks Geelong offers ballet classes for primary age 5 - adults utilising the ATOD syllabus. It is a graceful style of dance that provides an important foundation for all other dance styles.Â
Kicks turns and leaps is a technically based class where attention is paid to perfecting various kicks, turns and leaps.
All classes are taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about dance and are committed to providing individual attention in a welcoming and non-competitive learning environment.
Character dance classes compliments classical ballet technique, builds up stamina and helps students to learn coordination.
