SDA’s Performing Arts Qualifications, Affiliations and Registrations include Acrobatic Dance Association, Australasian Dance Australia, Australian Guild of Music Education, Australian Teachers of Dancing, British Ballet Organisation, Glenn Wood Tap and State Dance Association, we are also a member of Audance NSW and World Dance Alliance Asia Pacific.
SDA holds all the necessary insurances for students and teachers through Danceusrance. SDA’s success is measured by the success of its students and teachers.
Our school offers all levels of classical ballet. We are committed to giving our students a good sound classical technique. We encourage the training of classical ballet as it gives all our performers the very best basis for all dance styles.
Classes includes barre exercises, center floor work and short across the floor combinations. To be eligible for enrolment in Pointe class, students must be currently enrolled in a minimum of one or more general ballet classes at the studio.

Classical Ballet is highly focused on grace, skill and precision. It is the basic foundation of all theatrical dance styles and is absolutely necessary for the technical development of a dancer. All elements of barre work, body placement and arm movements are applied in each lesson.
