This class uses modified elements from the Jr. and foundation grades to build up strength and technique.
Note: Most teen dancers will complete 2-3 years of the teen class before moving into the progression grades should they be recommended.
Dancers can also continue to take ballet tech should they not move into the ballet competition levels.

Pointe class is an extension of our classical ballet program. Ballet dancers will support all of their body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. Pointe classes are available for students who have completed Cecchetti II, enrolled in ballet and are at least 13 yrs old.
Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. Body awareness, technical training and coordination are stressed throughout the class, and students are taught correct terminology.Â
Slow, Precise Movements To Classical Music
At the Primary level all classes use a fun but structured class foundation while using props and a variety of music. As Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms, it is strongly encouraged for all serious dance students.
Along with general ballet classes, we offer pre-pointe classes that focus on core-strengthening exercises and techniques for preparing your feet and ankles for pointe work. Dancing en pointe refers to balancing on the tips of fully extended feet.
