At The Quebec dance school, we elevate passions through quality education, which allows dancers of all ages and levels to achieve their full potential! Pupils and students are the driving force behind all of our actions.
It is in a climate of respect and trust that we transmit our passion through a healthy and safe artistic practice.
Ballet provides a good, solid foundation for many of the other dance styles in the DAS Recreational program, and it’s Caelia’s personal favourite! We have four levels of recreational adult ballet: Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Traditionally, a ballet class lasts 1.5 hours. Part of the class takes place at the bar and the other part in the center. Whether you are a beginner or a principal dancer, it's the same thing!
Our Ballet program follows The Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D.) syllabus. The classes incorporate the traditional study of classical ballet with free movement and character dance.
Ballet originated in the sixteenth and seventeenth century French courts, and was further developed in England, Italy, and Russia as a concert dance form. Ballet develops strength, posture, flexibility, coordination and focus.
We believe in educating our students on the importance of being a team and building confidence in themselves and in their teammates.
