The quality and strength a dancer builds through attending ballet class is an important factor for any dancer, and we encourage all our pupils to sign up for ballet classes alongside their other disciplines.
MasterClass Dance Studios students are under supervision whilst in class only. Whilst we endeavour to provide a safe environment, teachers & staff cannot be responsible for students outside their class time.
We strongly advise that Students be collected from the waiting room after class and that they do not wait outside the studio building. This is for the students’ safety.
We take pride in the fantastic learning and working environment we have at MasterClass Dance Studios. We expect Staff, Students, and their families to treat each other with respect.
No Food, Drink, or chewing gum is permitted in the studios. Water bottles will be permitted.If you have any queries or concerns, please discuss them with your teacher, at a time that does not interfere with a class. Should you wish to discuss your child’s progress, we are happy to make an appointment at a mutually convenient time.
MasterClass Dance Studios maintains the right to dismiss any student who damages property, causes disruptions to any classes of a severe nature, or disrespects any of the teaching staff.
Classical Ballet is fantastic for developing lifelong skills such as confidence, learning ability, posture and flexibility.Â
Our Ballet classes follow the British Ballet Organisation syllabus.
These classes will cover technique, performance presentation & introduce steps outside the exam syllabi. Recommended for all students from Intermediate & up.
Pre-school ballerinas focus on learning the steps of ballet in an exciting and creative way.
At Whanganui Ballet & Dance Academy we support young children as they start ballet by offering technical correction in a warm, friendly dance environment
