Foxtrot has become a dance of social elegance, characterized by smooth, graceful and gliding movements and enjoyed by people of all ages. This 4/4 time signature dance comes fast or slow.
Waltz music has a 3/4 time signature. The classic Box is the basic step. Most genres of music can be played in waltz timing such as the Polka Waltz & Argentine Tango Vals. There are slow and fast tempos such as the Viennese Waltz.

Ballroom dance may refer, at its widest, to almost any type of social dancing as recreation. Ballroom can also be used to refer specifically to dances such as the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz.
