DurationThere are five types of standard ballroom dance – The Modern Waltz, the Viennese Waltz, Tango, the Slow Foxtrot and the Quickstep. Try your hand at all of these at FloorCraft Dance Studio – we offer both individual and group lessons, for competitive and social dancers.
Learn the rhythms of Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Boogie, Jive, Rumba and Samba. As the numbers in my classes are limited I can ensure individual attention.
Learning Ballroom and Latin American dancing is not only fun, it gets you fit and allows you to meet people but is a great escape from the stresses of everyday.
We are also proud to offer monthly dance socials. We believe in giving you a place to meet other dancers, practice and strut your stuff!
Ballroom Dance Lessons are offered by Katz's School Of Dance for all ages and abilities. Katz school of Dance is a dance training academy focusing on uplifting and introducing dancers of all ages to a holistic and nurturing world of dance.
Cha Cha Cha Dance Lessons are offered by URD Dance Studio. Our goal is to build a lifelong passion for dance and equip our dancers to have a successful career in the entertainment industry.
We offer ‘First Dance’ wedding choreography to our couples, so that they are able to step out with confidence on their big day! We individually choreograph and teach the routine with your ideas and wedding dress restrictions in mind.
We offer a fun comfortable learning environment. Many students have reported weight loss, increased flexibility, enhanced strength, better posture, increased self-confidence, increased energy and endurance, and a more positive mood.
There are several variations of the Waltz, including Viennese waltz, Slow, (Ballroom) waltz (ballroom waltz) and Boere Waltz. It is an elegant dance characterised by rise and fall. It is both a folk dance of Austrian origin and a Standard Ballroom dance.
