DurationThere are five types of standard ballroom dance – The Modern Waltz, the Viennese Waltz, Tango, the Slow Foxtrot and the Quickstep. Try your hand at all of these at FloorCraft Dance Studio – we offer both individual and group lessons, for competitive and social dancers.
Learn the rhythms of Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Boogie, Jive, Rumba and Samba. As the numbers in my classes are limited I can ensure individual attention.
Learning Ballroom and Latin American dancing is not only fun, it gets you fit and allows you to meet people but is a great escape from the stresses of everyday.
We are also proud to offer monthly dance socials. We believe in giving you a place to meet other dancers, practice and strut your stuff!

In a word, fun comes to mind when you think of the quickstep. Like the jive it is springy and jumpy with a high energy and a lot of quirky and weird steps. Overall a very fun dance when you get to the higher levels.
