Beginner level is for people who would like to try ballroom dancing for the first time. These classes are designed to have you moving around the floor easily within the first few weeks of the class.
Ballroom" dances are smooth and fluid, moving across the floor with speed and grace. Under the Ballroom or "Modern" or "Standard" umbrella are: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz
The "Latin American" style is full of hip movements and attitude. Latin dances include: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, and Paso Doblé.

The classes will introduce you to basic dancing that you can use at parties, balls or take into other social classes. A great way to exercise and learn something new! You do not need to have a partner to attend this class.
In a 4 week course, you will focus on one dance from the Modern style, and one from the Latin American style. 4 weeks is an ideal time frame to feel comfortable with the steps and learn at a relaxed pace.
