Most students will learn the fundamentals of reading and understanding the language of music. At the same time, students will have fun learning music they know and love.
In the planning and design of Desert Ridge Music Academy, the owners based their business ideas to go against two flaws in the traditional lesson experience. First, lessons aren’t always enough.
Students need a place to meet and perform with other musicians. Second and equally as important, the lessons need to happen in an environment that favors education over retail sales. With these key ideas in mind, Desert Ridge Music Academy was born.
Every aspect of building and growing the Academy has always been approached with the intent of living by our Mission Statement: Learn, Create, Perform.
Since opening our doors in 2008, not only have we consistently provided quality lessons for all ages and skill levels, but we also immediately began hosting weekly Jam Sessions, concerts and recitals on our in-house stage.
Our one-of-a-kind environment has resulted in students forming their own bands, many of which can boast paying gigs. This, in conjunction with our carefully hand-picked staff, has made DRMA the fastest growing music facility in the Valley.
Banjo Lessons are offered by Renaissance Studios for all ages and skill level. Renaissance Studios prides itself on its high quality of musical instruction. We offer private music lessons for all ages.
Banjo Lessons are becoming very popular. In our school we have NO Contract -NO Registration Fee. You can go month to month (having the same time and day every week with auto payment set up that you can cancel at any time) or lesson to lesson (possibility of changing schedule every week)
Our teachers will help you learn the basic banjo rolls and chords, as well as how to read banjo tablature. All styles of banjo music are available. We teach both four-string and five-string banjo
