Barbering Program

At the Professional Schools of Beauty, Fashion and Arts, Inc., we understand that being a barber is about taking care of people. That is why our training philosophy is focused on equipping our barbers with the skills that they will need to provide a comfortable, high quality and rejuvenating shave for their clients.

Our barbering program includes hair cutting, shaving, and grooming, chemical work such as perms and coloring and hairpiece design and fitting. We will also train you in basic skincare, facial massage and salon maintenance.

Being a professional barber requires both training and practice. That is why we take a practical and hands-on approach in our training sessions. You will have hours of real model practice under the guidance and training of professional barbers. Our expert trainers provide feedback with each shave and each cut so that our trainees can improve and get better.

Our wet shave courses and barber courses will give you the foundational knowledge that you need to succeed as a professional barber. Whether you are a beginner, a career switcher or an advanced stylist, we will help you to improve your barbering skills. We will deconstruct each step and help you to refine your technique and improve your shaving and cutting speed.

We will also teach you the science and art of barbering. You will learn the business skills needed for this career as well as the safety and consumer health practices that you must follow. This will give you the freedom to work in any industry or to be your own boss.
