Lifesupporters Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) is a registered, not-for-profit organization that had initiated the journey towards the development of emergency healthcare in India since 2005.
Initiated by a team of three doctors, the key intention was to propagate standardized instruction modules for emergency care, pre-hospital care and hospital disaster management. Over the years, the primary mission was to enable healthcare professionals with life support skills to tackle life-threatening emergencies.
Thereon, basic first aid and CPR skills were extended at the community level too. This journey continues to expand the LIHS family, thereby incorporating a cadre of professionals who are capable of rendering emergency medical services expeditiously.
The faculty of LIHS comprises distinguished and proficient medical and paramedical professionals with a passion for imparting knowledge. Our instructors, who are certified and recognised by the American Heart Association (AHA),
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), impart life support skills as per international guidelines in order to execute standardized pre-hospital emergency care and hospital care globally.
Additionally, a sizable portion of our faculty has acquired advanced training from the London Ambulance Service, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and a Master Trainer’s Certification from HSSC and TISS.
