Course Overview
This course is designed to keep workers safe while working at heights. The course program combines theory with hands-on knowledge and training for the correct usage of Fall Protection Equipment. Training will include inspecting equipment, fitting, adjusting and connecting Fall Protection Systems and Components including hands-on training activities. Upon course completion, students will have the ability to assess and evaluate Fall Arrest Systems, as well as to develop and implement Fall Protection Plans.
At the end of the course, all students will be required to write a theory-based test which includes multiple choice questions and answers. Knowledge of the English language is required as this test is only available in English. Upon successful completion of the course and passing mark in the written exam, students will be issued their certification in the form of a plastic, wallet size card which is valid for 3 years from the date of the course.

About the Founder
Don Lowe is a certified and expert Instructor who has been providing Fall Protection Training in Canada for the past 11 years.
He is the previous owner/operator of DL Safety Consulting Ltd., and during that time partnered with WorkSafeBC to provide Fall Protection Courses to WCB Officers.

This course shows workers how to work safely in and around hydrogen sulfide (H2S) environments. H2S is a naturally occurring gas. It is often referred to as sour gas, acid gas, stink damp or sulphurated hydrogen.
