Basic Fire fighting, Emergency Preparedness and Response Training

With the growing cases of fire incident in recent year, it has trigger company, organisation and stake holder to established Emergency Response Team and preparedness. ERT team act as a first responder to respond in the event of emergency.

Thus, is to ensure the people safety always the first priority, minimize environment impact, secure asset and equipment, more importance the reputation of the organization should be taken seriously.

Objectives

Participants Will Be Benefit By Being Able To:

• To prepare emergency response team knowledge and skill:

• Role and responsible of key personal

• Recognize workplace firefighting system

• Effectively use first aid firefighting equipment

• Effectively execute on scene firefighting strategy and tactic

• Fire Evacuation Drill practice

Course Contents

• Fire Safety Act and Regulations in Malaysia

• Effectively using portable fire extinguisher

• Building fire protection and installation system  

• Site visit – Hose Reel, Pump house, Fire Alarm System, Escape Route

• Managing Emergency Response

• Introduction to Emergency Response Equipment

• Fire Drill Exercise (role play)

Target Group

• Fire warden, fire safety committee and staff who are the first one to respond to fire and emergencies at the workplaces
