Course Overview:
The skills, values and knowledge reflected in this unit standard are required by people in the field of manufacturing and engineering. The learning outcomes in this unit standard also contribute to the exit level outcomes required for various manufacturing and engineering qualifications.
Qualifying learners can select and use the appropriate firefighting equipment to extinguish or control fires in the workplace.
Accredited training provider offering qualifications and short courses through dataless online learning, face to face or correspondence in the corporate and private sector.
Fire Marshall training is offered by Expat Rescue. Expat Rescue was established on the principles of providing a high quality rescue service for today’s workplace in remote areas. Expat Rescue can cater for any type of training including individuals, corporate clients & teachers.
Fire Marshall course is offered by Falcon Safety Group. Falcon Safety Group is your preferred Training and Consulting provider, offering public course training as well as in-house training at any National client-preferred venue.
Firefighter 2 is the second level in the firefighter program. Â It is designed to provide the theory and skills necessary to perform the functions of a firefighter. Firefighter 1 NFPA 1001 is a pre-requisite for this course.Â
Any applicant who successfully completes this course will satisfy: The Advanced Fire Fighting standards of competence required by 46 CFR 11.20(h) and 11.303(b) provided the mariner has one year of sea service within the last five years.
These courses are designed to prepare students for any situation they may encounter at the scene of an accident. Fire Fighters should be trained in a number of core skills that could help them to avoid responding to a fire that is out of control, rather than putting out a fire.
