Basic Fire Fighting Training

Fire emergencies can happen anytime at the workplace and have various causes. The risk of injury and damage to people, properties, and the environment are all at stake. To minimize it, the best way will be by having fire safety management planning.

This Basic Fire Fighting Training is structured following legal requirements, regulations, and other relevant Industrial Codes of Practice. This training will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and understanding of fire safety legislation and firefighting procedures relevant to the workplace.

Course Objectives:

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Gain knowledge on current fire safety legislation or local fire codes and their compliances.

• Describe the chemistry of fire and how fire spreads in the workplace.

• Identify fire hazards in the workplace or sources of ignition.

• Understand the fire prevention techniques/control measures.

• Understand the need for proper fire detection, protection systems, and other emergency equipment in the workplace.
