Basic Fire Training

Basic Fire training is offered by OHS Consultants. OHS Consultants are accredited at QCTO and other SETA’s and take pride in our quality of training.

We only make use of subject matter experts to facilitate, do assessments and moderations. All our Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators are trained and registered at relevant authorities.

Content:

• After completing this course, the learner will be able to identify fire hazards in the workplace.
• The elements in a fire loss programme are explained as well as control of fires, housekeeping practices, fire teams and close-down procedures.
• We discuss evacuation drills and the different roles of employees in the drills.
• A fire extinguisher is used so all participants know how to use it in case of a fire.
