The participant is expected to assess and manage a person’s condition according to accepted practices for first aid, including shock and bleeding, trauma from burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries, or poisonings, and medical conditions ranging from heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure, or diabetes.
They are also expected to develop the ability to provide basic life support through CPR and management of a foreign body airway obstruction (choking).

This 6-hour course aims to refresh first aid skills and knowledge and provide learners with all the up-to-date information. The course emphasises scenario-based activities in a fun and interactive learning environment.
