Moreover, the training aims to equip participants with the skills to identify and respond to cardiopulmonary arrest while ensuring that the automated external defibrillator (AED) is used safely. This will be done by ensuring that the DRABCD approach to resuscitation is applied at all times.
The First Aid and Basic Life Support course will provide new workers with the essential information and skills to recognise and respond effectively to basic first aid emergencies and refresh the knowledge and skills of existing workers.
This 2 hour course covers a range of CPR, AED and First Aid skills and the training enables a responder to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill at home or out and about.
A three-hour intensive session, our Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains you to recognise and manage the patient in cardiac arrest and a range of other medical emergencies.
Anybody needing annual updates to complete professional membership or are interested in CPR and Automatic External Defibrillators and how to use them.
