This course is appropriate for people who are new to resuscitation training and people who opt for an annual recertification.
Following successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a certificate which is valid for one year.
We provide exceptionally high quality training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), delivered by our passionate team of dedicated trainers. All our trainers are either fully qualified or trainee healthcare professionals.
Such as doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, and are not only competent in the delivery of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an AED, they are skilled and experienced first aid and basic life support teachers.
All our courses comply with the current guidelines issued by the Resuscitation Council (UK) in 2021. We want to help people to move from being passive bystanders to active lifesavers when they are faced with an emergency.
We understand the need not just for technical competence amongst our participants, but also the confidence to use their skills in an emergency and the need for empathy at a time of huge stress for all concerned.
A 4 hour training programme designed to give candidates a basic knowledge of emergency resuscitation skills and instruction on how to use a portable Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.
Basic Life Support And Anaphylaxis (QCF) is ofered by Eastend Training. The aim of the qualification is to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills to manage a casualty with anaphylaxis until further assistance from the emergency services can be obtained.
