What does it include?
Module 1 - CPR & AED:
Acting safely and promptly in an emergency
Care of the unconscious casualty (recovery position)
Basic CPR theory and hands-on practise
Using an AED device
Choking
Control of bleeding
How long is it?
This course runs for 3 hours, and can be scheduled to suit your working day, either morning, at afternoon or across the middle of the day.
Additional Information
This course is intended to provide basic first aid skills only, and does not qualify candidates to be full workplace first aiders. The principles covered in this course are based on the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK).
This is a practical course, and all candidates are encouraged to get involved and practise key elements of their training.
