Special Rescue Training Academy (SRTA) is a premier and prestigious aquatic training academy offering professional training and certifications to lifeguards, water sports operators and related professionals and having trained over 11,000 individuals so far.

We also specialise in training flood rescue and disaster management teams. Accredited by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) since 2018, SRTA provides comprehensive and thorough courses to lifeguards, water sports and boat operators and aspiring professionals in the field. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified training organisation, we offer high-quality training and certifications to aquatic-related firms.

SRTA is affiliated with the central government’s National Skill Development Council and the Skill India programme. The Academy has had past affiliations with renowned international bodies like the Surf Educators International of Australia and the International Rescue Instructors Association of Canada. Recognised by the Government of Goa, SRTA is entrusted with training lifeguards for Drishti Life Saving Pvt Ltd (DLPL), which manages beach safety along Goa's coastline.

SRTA has also trained several beach lifeguards for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) since 2018 and also conducts a wide range of training programmes for lifesavers, water sports operators as well as for the country's top agencies involved in rescue and relief operations, which includes the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). SRTA is committed to promote safety and professionalism in aquatic environments through comprehensive training programs and certifications.
