Phoenix Institute of CPR and Defibrillation was established in 2009 with the unique vision to generate awareness in the masses about the need to learn Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) and Basic First Aid Skills.
Our Mission
To train individuals, who in their professional and / or personal capacity, are in a position to save lives of their coworkers or family members by administering CPR (with or without an AED) in the event of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
This list includes, but is not limited to Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Health workers, Teachers, Students, Fitness trainers, Sports officials, Family members of people with heart disease, General Public and many others and practically everybody in good health.
With ever increasing heart disease in India, and insufficient and inadequate Emergency Care Serivces, the Bystander Good Samaritan may often be called upon to save precious lives at home, office & workplace, schools and colleges, sports events, recreational events, and other public places.
Fortunately, the training of CPR ( Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation ) and use of AED ( Automated External Defibrillators) is easy and the skills learnt empower the individual to make difference by saving lives.
BLS is designed to equip anyone with essential knowledge of CPR, AED usage, and fundamental life-saving techniques. It is frequently administered in non-hospital settings and may not necessarily be carried out by a medical practitioner.

This session focuses on various life threatening medical emergencies like bleeding injuries, fracture, heart attack, cardiac arrest, choking, stroke, reptile bites, transport hazards.
During any medical emergency it is very critical to save lives in the first 3 to 5 minutes. Many lives are lost due to wasting time waiting for the ambulance and other trained personnel.
The golden hour if utilised properly can save a lot of life. Cardiac arrests, bleeding injuries, electrocution and drowning are some of the emergencies that are taking lives today. Hence the need for training on Basic life Support and first aid skills to save precious lives.
