About Us
South West Pitch-Side Trauma Care is a provider of expert support for a range of sporting events throughout the South West. Founded by Paul Tompkins, former Head Physiotherapist at Bristol Rugby Club and consultant Physiotherapist at Cheltenham Town Football Club.
Paul and his team have a track record of providing support to a range of events including Rugby, Football, Boxing, power lifting and other sports. He has built a team of highly skilled Physios and graduate Sports rehabilitators who work on his behalf.
All of the Therapists are fully qualified and insured. Support includes but is not exclusive to pre- and post event massage support, pre-game taping and acute injury assessment. Our partner clubs are also able to access a Sunday triage clinic for any injuries that may require further assessment of injury severity.
