Basic Life Support (Level 2)

Basic Life Support Training is offered by Train Aid. The Level One Basic Life Support Course addresses the most common emergencies that a first aider may face. The course meets the latest guidelines from the UK resuscitation council - covering the practical elements of First Aid.

This Basic Life Support training will provide learners with the skills and knowledge needed to act in an emergency, providing crucial life-saving aid to the casualty until help comes. The course includes CPR training & defibrillator training. 

Basic Life Support (Adult and Paediatric) is offered by Simply First Aid. It is a common expectation that healthcare staff will have sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to recognise and respond to signs of clinical deterioration. This course will look at the different types of adrenalin auto-injector available in the UK: Epi-pen, Jext and Emerade. You will refresh you CPR skills and learn how to manage an incident where a casualty known to have anaphylaxis is suffering from a severe allergic reaction.

This qualification is for those that are interested in, or are required to attend annual training in basic life support. While some candidates may be interested in undertaking this qualification for personal development.
