Full introduction training lasts one day and our refresher training lasts half a day. Our courses consist of eLearning, interactive lectures, demonstrations of the skills required to be a good BLS and AED instructor and an assessment of the teaching style. All candidates should already have a good understanding of Basic Life Support. *Anaphylaxis is an optional add on, duration of training may be extended by 30 minutes.

My passion for healthcare started at a really young age.
Sadly, at a family party, I witnessed my grandmother collapsing, and watched on as family members tried hard to resuscitate her. Although this experience was very distressing, it fuelled me with a deep desire to want to pursue a career in nursing to help people and ultimately save lives.
This immensely rewarding profession led me to specialise in resuscitation and emergency medicine and I began teaching other healthcare professionals. The combination of my love for training and influencing healthcare is still at the heart of what we do at ECG.

Basic Life Support Course is offered by Tiger Lily First Aid Training. This 3-hour course covers how to find, when to use and how to use an AED. Learners will also learn how to perform CPR on an infant/child and adult. We have also included how to deal with a choking casualty.
This basic life support qualification is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) regulated by OfQual (the official regulator of qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland)
