Basic OBGY Ultrasound Course

Chikitsa Diagnostic & Ultrasound Training Centre is the largest dedicated Centre for ultrasound teaching in Mumbai and one of the largest in India. Ultrasound is a modality being used widely. In order to impart general and specialized knowledge of ultrasound, we offer specialized training programs. We cover areas such as, obstetric color-doppler, first trimester ultrasound including nuchal translucency, nasal bone etc., first trimester anomalies scan, fetal echocardiography, second trimester anomalies scan, 3D/4D ultrasound with stress on gynecology and obstetrics. 

In addition we cover peripheral color Doppler, male infertility sonography, TRUS, small parts (such as testes and scrotum, breast, thyroid,) bowel, abdominal wall and hernias etc. We have conducted programs on musculo-skeletal ultrasound, endovenous ablation of varicose veins and prostate biopsy. We urge excellence in ultrasound. We also have sonography orientations in NICU, IPCU, Emergency Care and Critical Care ultrasound.

The centre gets post-graduate doctors from all parts of India and is a premier centre for ultrasound teaching in Mumbai and Maharashtra. The ultrasound teaching and orientation methodology comprises of adequate hands-on ultrasound experience coupled with excellent didactic lectures.

We stress the academic content in the lectures and we urge our students to excel. We also give post-program support to our students. Our teachers are well-trained Radiologists and we bring with us an experience of over 20 years in the field of Sonography and Radiology.
