Basic Occupational First Aid At Work Place

The purpose of this directive was to introduce measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at the workplace. It contains general principles concerning the prevention of occupational risks, i.e., the prevention of unsafe working conditions.

Workplace accidents not only have a catastrophic human dimension, but they also have a financial impact. How much cost will be incurred by your organization if an accident happens? How much of it could you prevent? "Prevention is better than cure."

In fact, prevention is still the best method against accidents at the workplace. However, even the best preventive efforts sometimes fail, and it is therefore prudent to prepare for such eventualities.

It has been shown that proper initial handling of the accidents victims contributes significantly to the final outcome and often determines if a life could be saved

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

This training is more for office staff to prevent accidents and work-related hazards and diseases and to comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH Act 1994, Act 514) for workers in the office.

It is important to create a comfortable working environment so that workers feel less exhausted and stressed in places where they have to spend long hours. Creating a comfortable working environment is important because it will enable workers to put their abilities to use more effectively and revitalize workplaces.

The office can be a healthy and comfortable place to work if the correct combination of these elements is maintained. In some of the larger offices, workers may experience some ill-health effects that may be due to the office environment (e.g., headaches, lethargy, eye, nose, throat problems, stress, etc.) and require competent investigation.
