Gurship Group of Companies an ISO 9001:2008 certified with ABS and the owners of three Maritime Training Institute out of which two are DG Approved (Approved by Govt. Of India) viz. (a) Gurship Education Trust Maritime Training Institute, (b) SCMS Maritime training Institute.

Our value-added courses are done under the name of GSMS Maritime Training Institute which is also ISO 9001:2008 certified and is holding value added courses which DG Shipping does not Approve as per their guidelines.

Our courses are accepted by ONGC & British Gas (BG). Please note at this stage only 4 Institute are approved by British Gas and we are one of them. Please be AWARE that certain Institutes are just issuing Certificates without proper training and you might land up (A) With no quality training & (B) ONGC & BG might not approve and will not give Passes.

For seafarers who have already done the mandatory DG approved courses, certain foreign principals to cut short the period & the expenses are asking their Seafarer to do Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) (3 days & 5 days) which is on OPITO guidelines & this course is also accepted by certain foreign principals (OCB Dubai, GEO Services Singapore, RDC Bahrain).

Pls note, all our classrooms are air-conditioned & the lunch is served in five star club. Pls note our teaching staff includes 3 MOT Masters (FG), 2 Naval Officers, 2 Psychologist & 2 MBBS/MS Doctors and offshore courses are conducted by Ex port Captain & Chief Engineer who were with ONGC for 25 years.
