Basic Rigging is an eight-hour interactive course that trains the students on fundamental rigging practices. The class consists of six hours of theory and two hours of practical training.

Understanding the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations and Code
Rigging components (slings, hardware, hooks) and applications
How to determine load weights and centre of gravity
Understanding sling tension and calculations
Hand signals and taglines

Our Rigging and Crane Team Safety training course has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve working with Cranes and the Rigging of loads.
This course is designed to familiarize workers with basic Rigging and Slinging concepts, the proper uses of slings and associated rigging equipment as well as the proper pre-use inspection procedures for rigging equipment.
This course is for a student whom utilizes rigging (lifting) equipment for material lifting and handling. Lifting equipment includes: chain slings, wire rope slings, synthetic slings and shackles.
course certifies trainees to perform hoisting and rigging via crane or other equipment on the worksite.
