Our adult classes meet once per week for 2 hour sessions. You can choose between 6, 12 and 18 week programs. Classes are all tailored to the abilities and skills of the participants. From complete beginners to advanced sewers there’s always something new to learn!
Simple 8-panel skirt with options for a flounce or gores. Straight front waistband and elasticized back for comfort. The skirt can fit on the waist or below the waist (low rise) depending on how you adjust the elastic. Cut alternate panels on the bias for a fun look!
Learn basic sewing terminology and types of stitches. Learn how to set up and thread your machine. Practice sewing straight, corners/pivots, and curves and make a bookmark.
Have you been searching for the perfect dress pattern but cant find it? In this class we design a dress, make a sample, fit it then sew it out of final fabrics. This class is suitable for anyone who has taken sewing 101 or has equivalent skills. Maybe you want a simple.
Learn the basics of sewing! This class will cover both hand-sewing and machine-sewing techniques for practical use in everyday life. We’ll take a look at different types of stitches, as well as how to do minor repairs. You’ll even get to make your very own pillow!Â
