Have you ever wanted to make your own patterns, but just don't know where to start? With this introductory pattern-making class, you will learn the how to measure and map the lower body to create a skirt template or sloper that is custom fit to your figure! The final sloper can be used in turn to create patterns for an endless variety of styles of skirts.
Want to take the next step toward making your own patterns? Moulage/Torso Sloper lessons are available as well! Moulage slopers can be used to create custom arm hole, neckline, and collar patterns!
Materials List:
We provide all pattern-making tools needed, however, you will need several yards of pattern paper for drafting and muslin fabric to test for fit. Oat tag is provided for your final slopers.

The Mood U 6-Week Beginner Sewing Course for Adults is a set of six (6) consecutive weekly in-store classes designed to teach you basic home-sewing machine operating skills, pattern layout, fabric cutting, sewing construction, and finishing techniques.
Class for kids that have complete basics or kids kamp. Class fee includes kit.
Classes are open to students of all ages 7-adult. We also offer sew little classes for children 5-6 yrs. We offer private classes, group, weekend & homeschool classes and also have a sewing club that meets 2x monthly.
Learn sewing techniques and vocabulary as you create a simple pillowcase apron. You will learn how to make a cute apron using a pillowcase and gain the understanding of simple fabric design layouts with tips and tricks to measuring, marking, pinning and basic sewing skills.
Learn basic sewing terminology and types of stitches. Learn how to set up and thread your machine. Practice sewing straight, corners/pivots, and curves and make a bookmark.
