Basic Workplace First Aid

This shorter first aid course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn the basics of first aid in common emergency situations.  It is recommended for low-risk workplaces and designed for people who do not need to know about more advanced topics covered in Comprehensive Workplace First Aid.

This course meets the guidelines provided by WorkSafe New Zealand (2020).  It includes 5.5-hours class time plus 4-hours of self-study. This first aid class includes all course content from the CPR First Aid Course and covers the NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402. 

It will give you a First Aid certificate that is valid for 2 years. You must recertify this course every 2 years. Meditrain has 30 years’ experience in first aid training so you are in very capable and experienced hands!
