Beginners learn to play bass guitar by using popular songs that illustrate key concepts and techniques.
Students can begin learning to play the bass at a very young age, as these instruments are available in small size or full size. As the student grows the instrument can be switched to a full full size instrument without changing its fundamentals. The bass is also a great instrument to practice at home because of its small size and volume control.
Leader Street School of Music has specialized in music lessons in Adelaide since 1979 when founder/director Greg Hart opened the first school in the West End of Adelaide city at the John Reynolds Music City building.
Students in our school range from age 7 to over 80 years of age. We teach beginners, intermediate, and advanced musicians. Our music instructors bring a wealth of teaching experience to the educational experience. We are proud to have some of the best music teachers in Australia on our faculty.
