I teach one-to-one lessons at home in my fully-equipped music studio, where students benefit from a variety of instruments and range of playing material. And for those who live more remotely, or simply prefer to learn from the comfort of their own home, I teach live, online video lessons using Skype.
All of our full time bass guitar courses cover the key areas of technical skill associated with playing the bass, such as use of the fingerboard, applied fingerboard harmony, time and groove, slap and dead note finger funk, walking bass, soloing, harmonics etc.
Pupils may start on acoustic or classical guitar from year 3. Guitars can be purchased from retailers in different sizes as most appropriate to the child. Pupils may also receive lessons on electric guitar and bass guitar normally after learning the acoustic / classical guitar for some time.

Guitar classes are offered by First Chord Music School. Lessons are tailored to students interests and musical ambitions. We make sure to blend this with music theory and technique.
In our guitar course there are only two students per class. Each Term consists of 10 thirty minutes lessons. All of our teachers are experienced and DBS Certified. Our teachers maintain an attitude of constant encouragement and dedication to each and every student.
