The Academy of Cosmetology was created to reflect the values of its’ founder Shehereeza Sather which are; integrity, service excellence and professionalism. Shehereeza Sather entered the beauty industry in 2013 and currently holds a National Diploma in Somatology and a Bachelor of Technology in Somatology.
She worked in various positions within the industry namely, therapy, administrative and management in local as well as international leading Spas. She is a constituent assessor for Services SETA and has been facilitating and assessing Beauty and Nail Technology courses for numerous years.
The course vary from Manicure, Pedicure, Skin and Eyelash Care, Massage and Waxing, Gel and Acrylic
The aim of the Beauty Specialist programme is to educate students to fully understand the basic knowledge of manicure, pedicure, wax and skincare treatments.
Beauty Specialist Diploma is offered by Sanguine Spa & College.
During the first year the focus will be placed on topics like facial skin care therapy, facial electrical treatments, eyebrow & eyelash grooming, manicure & pedicure, waxing & basic make-up. On completion, students will receive the ITEC International Beauty Specialist Diploma (June) ITEC International Nail Technology Diploma (Nov) and ITEC International Diploma in Holistic Massage (Nov).
