You will learn massage techniques, as well as other popular treatments, and the foundations that will help to prepare you for a career in the beauty industry.
This course requires a professional approach at all times. You will be required to ensure that you follow the professional code of practice – wearing the correct uniform, hair up, day makeup and short neat nails.
You will learn about essential skills needed to work within the beauty industry, including a range of treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, body massage and waxing. These will be the foundations of your course and then you will be able to choose additional units that are specific to your area of expertise. For example makeup, eyebrows or waxing.
This qualification contains theory work, as well as practical observations where you are required to demonstrate competence in the areas observed.
