Beauty Therapy Studies Level 2

About This Course

A substantial qualification aimed at learners seeking a career as an employed or self-employed beauty specialist. You will develop knowledge and understanding of a range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, salon reception, and health and safety.

What Will I Study?

You will study a range of topics, including:

• Provide facial skincare

• Remove hair using waxing techniques

• Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments

• Apply makeup

• Client care and communication

• Manicure treatments

• Pedicure treatments

• Health and safety

• Optional units such as tanning and make-up

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and maths. There is also the opportunity to study for English and maths qualifications if you do not already hold them at the required level.
