Above all, we are trusted to ensure students and members meet our profession’s standards and embrace our code of conduct.
The following values and behaviours are key to CPA Ontario’s culture. They are reflected in the work we do, how we treat each other and how we represent ourselves:
Think and act with a student and member-first mindset while protecting the public interest.
Always strive for the highest levels of professionalism.
Be open-minded and nimble as we adapt to an evolving environment.
Strive for personal accountability in everything we do.
Act with integrity at all times, in all situations.
Adopt a "one company" mindset, collaborating across functional lines.
Align activities and efforts to focus on results and outcomes.
Our Core 1 Prep methodology is centered on a balance of strategic (e.g. such as: time management, ranking, rating), written (e.g. sentence structure, depth, breadth, concise messaging) and technical (e.g. in-depth knowledge of technical criteria in all competency areas) weaknesses.
CPA PEP is comprised of a series of six modules focused on preparing CPA candidates for a career in business and accounting, targeted toward mid-level to management-level positions.Â
CPAs need skills that extend beyond just the technical requirements. Learn how to utilize other skills to increase your performance and succeed in an ever-changing world
