Beginner Sewing Class

If you've been wanting to learn to sew or you haven't touched a machine in years, this is the class for you! In just one session we'll walk you through the basics; With all the new skills you have acquired you will create an Zippered Cosmetic/ Or Mens Tool Bag

This class will cover so much in a short time about the sewing machine. We’ll wind the bobbin and install it, thread the machine, adjust stitch length and width, backstitch, use some of the different stitches, review the accessories included in package and make an embroidered pincushion.

In a set of 6 classes, learn to use a sewing machine and sew a project together using a commercial pattern. Sewing Essentials is a self-paced course; you can start your classes any time, choose your project, and attend class sessions on your own schedule.

Each student will learn new skills as they work through projects of their choosing.  We have many project options available at every level or you can bring your own ideas. Students work to try new techniques, build skills and gain independence with the guidance of the instructor.

Learn from our Unincorporated Streetwear Designers how to create the dopest hoodie while learning machine and sewing basics. Offered only this Fall/Winter season, this introductory three hour class is for students of all skill levels.
