Beginner To Pro Course

This is the most popular course we offer and recommended for all aspiring or existing makeup artists wanting to take their skills to the next level. This course runs over a period of 4 weeks, Mondays and Wednesdays (these days may change due to Louise’s schedule).

Morning Class –Every Month - 10h00 – 12h30
Evening Class – Every Second Month* - 18h00 – 20h30

This course will cover all aspects of makeup and being a makeup artist from start to finish. We recommend this course as your basis as an artist and after completion add on with any of the other courses we offer to further your skills.

Course Layout: 

Class 1

– Introduction, being a make-up artist, your kit, hygiene and product knowledge and our favourite – brows on fleek! – Artist own face

Class 2

– Foundations – all skin colours and types, becoming a contour queen and creating the perfect lips, blusher and highlighting - Artist own face

Class 3

– Eyeshadow (bridal and using colour for all eye shapes) On this day we will complete our first full face - Artist own face

Class 4 

– Creating the perfect and sharpest liquid liner in history! Applying false lashes and creating a flawless camera ready look! – Artist own face

Class 5 

– Instagram Glam! We will teach you how to create the perfect cut crease look and adding all the elements needed to create the trendy international look seen all over social media! - A model is required

Class 6

– Recreate the look, artist needs to bring a picture that inspires them, think creative and out of the box! We will help you to recreate that look so we can start of your portfolio with a bang! The more daring your look, the more you will grow as an artist and wow your audience! - A model is required

Class 7

- Creative makeup! Bring a picture of a character or look you wish to recreate for when your clients attend dress up parties etc. and we will help you to make magic! – A model is required

Class 8

– This is our final class and your examination will take place on this day. We will start off this class with a tutorial by Louise on how to create the perfect Smokey eye, here you will witness how she completes a full face. Then we will start with the exam on bridal make-up.

Upon successful completion you will be issued your Halouw Makeup Academy certificate! - A model is required. Models are to arrive with students!
