Amanda Nicole started Dancing at the age of 7 years and trained in Freestyle Disco, Stage, Ballroom & Latin, Modern, Jazz, Line Dance,
Aerobics and later trained in Street Dance.
In 1989 she gained her first UKA Teaching Qualification in Freestyle Disco, and continued training until she'd gained qualifications in all styles studied.
From there Amanda went on to Teach Children and Adults, Dance and Exercise in local Schools and Colleges in the North East Of England.
After many years of travelling Teaching, Amanda knew that to achieve her goal she needed to have a base where everyone could come together to be creative, express themselves freely and be educated in the world of Dance.
And In 1997 that's exactly what she did. Amanda established her Dance School: The Amanda Nicole School of Dance in Wallsend,
with the vision to change the model of a traditional dance school.
Amanda became an employer and created a progression path, believing that Dance Education should be at the forefront.
Creating Training and CPD programmes, she started working more within education and In turn that created opportunities within employment and performance.
Amanda is also a Business Ambassador and a former College Lecturer in Dance.
The Amanda Nicole School of Dance currently employs Teachers, Coaches and Dancers, some of our Staff have been trained by Amanda from young children in the Dance School, and then as Adults in College.
All of our Teachers are Professional, Enhanced DBS Checked, Fully Insured, First Aid and Safeguarding & Protecting Children trained and certified as well as being trained and certified in many other areas such as youth mental health and behaviour management, which we feel is paramount in helping and understanding the next generation of dancers and teachers.
Our Team are very well known around the North East and work with many Schools, Colleges, Universities, Educational Providers, Disadvantaged Children and Youth Groups.
All proudly work towards the same original goal and dream the Amanda Nicole School of Dance was created for:
To Inspire, Reach, Unite, Create. Give all Children and Adults accessibility to dance, to be creative and expressive, whilst receiving high quality training and education in Dance.
'We believe that every child matters and seek to promote the value and self esteem of each and every individual within our School'
