The term starts with a conversation for us to get to know you and your goals for the rest of the term. With a small class size of 7, we are able to personalise our approach and pay individual attention to each burgeoning potter
By the end of the term, you will be able to bring home your very own simple form creations such as cups, bowls, and vases. You will also have the opportunity to enroll in the next term before the general public, in order to further develop your skills
All materials are included in the cost, and potters are also welcome to bring in their own materials to experiment with
Firing is charged at $12 per kg weighed during pick up of work

This hands on one session pottery class will introduce you to the basics of throwing clay on a potters wheel. The class will focus on developing the basic techniques of wheel throwing: centering clay, throwing tall cylinders, cups, bowls, turning and basic glazing.
There is just something therapeutic and satisfying about working directly with your hands! In this course you will dive into various clay hand building techniques over this 4 week period, that will support you to create your own beautiful and unique sculptures for the home.
