For the first session, all you'll need to bring to class is a notebook. Joy will go over the structure of the class and help you pick out fabric for your first quilt!

Please arrive 15 minutes before class in time to set up so class can start on time. If you need to cancel a class, you can cancel up to seven days before the class to receive a shop credit. If MBF or the teacher must cancel the class you will receive a full refund.

This 1.5-hour introductory or refresher class covers all of the how-to-knit basics, namely casting on, knitting, binding off & finishing, while starting your first "real" project from a pattern, a stylish-yet-cozy hat.Â
Come meet other crafters and learn from our talented teachers in a bright and comfortable setting. We offer a full schedule of knitting classes! Classes are limited to 8 students and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All classes take place in our shop at 1914 South Street.Â
You need to know how to cast on, knit and purl. You will learn to knit in the round using 3 different methods allowing you to decide which is most comfortable for you. You may move on to create a hat or just gain the skill of knitting in the round, your choice.
